Obverse depicts a praetorian galley right. Reverse shows an aquila between two signa with LEG XI across the lower field

The galley refers to Mark Antony's fleet, struck as part of the vast legionary coinage issued to pay his army and navy on the eve of the campaign that would end at Actium in September 31 BC.

The aquila and signa are the standards of Legio XI, one of the legions Antony honored individually across this series; the legion later passed into Octavian's service after Antony's defeat.

Reverse legend: LEG XI, abbreviation for *Legio Undecima*, "the Eleventh Legion."
